You will be studying remotely for the Winter 2021 term and your professors will use one of four online learning platforms: Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Big Blue Button and Cisco WebEx. You can learn about these platforms at sessions hosted by Information Technology Services throughout the first two weeks of classes.
This session will be about Big Blue Button. BigBlueButton is an open source web conferencing solution for online learning that provides real-time sharing of audio, video, slides, whiteboard, chat and screen. It also allows participants to join the conferences with their webcams and invite guest speakers. All sessions will take place twice daily, at 10 a.m. EST and 2 p.m. EST on the following schedule:
Mondays: Cisco WebEx
Tuesdays: Microsoft Teams
Wednesdays: Zoom
Thursdays: Big Blue Button
